Frequently Asked Questions
How do I pay for the inspection?
We will send an invoice to your email address which can be paid online. Payment must be received by the day of the inspection. We do not accept payments through escrow.
Do you use an infrared camera?
Yes. We are equipped with a FLIR infrared camera, and use it at every inspection as a courtesy.
Do you inspect pools?
We work exclusively with a third party pool inspector. Contact us, and we can coordinate all the scheduling for you.
How long does the inspection take?
Our inspections typically take around 3 hours. Large or older properties may require additional time.
Do you inspect for mold?
We do not inspect for mold. However, we do look for evidence of moisture intrusion and other factors that contrubute to mold.
Do you perform repairs?
No. Our code of ethics prevents us from making repairs on properties we have inspected for at least one year.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry E&O, general liability, and auto insurnace.
Do you inspect for rodents or termites?
A home inspector is prohibited by state law from commenting on the presence of rodents, wood destroyring organisms, and termites. We do not have a license as required by the state to include this in our report.
When will I receive my report?
We strive to produce your report as soon as possible. Typically within 1-2 business days.
What is your cancellation fee?
A $100.00 fee is charged for appointment cancellations within one business day of the inspection. We cannot schedule anyone else for that appointment with such short notice.
